The first winner in Sydney today,Chance Bye bought for $15k by a battler and bolted in ,25/1 was bet yesterday and came in to 4/1 today. First prize $150k. good luck to 'em and the way she won there'll be more wins in the future.
I just loved the way Richard Callander explained the blue made by the Waterhouse stable by saying Gai's horse left out of the race was an "administrative error" is that what they call it now when you forget to enter.

Saturday at Morphettville heralds the first appearance of yet another galloper wearing the all lime colours bearing the moniker "Discreet', bred by and raced in partnership by SAJC Chairman David "Capitan" Peacock.
This one is named Always Discreet and steps out in the 1000m two-year-old race.
Always Discreet is by Exceed and Excel, who is renowned for his precocious types out of Oh So Discreet,a black type winner by Bluebird.
Oh So Discreet is a half sister...
